Blountville United Methodist Church is seeking an administrative assistant. Part-time position. Approx. 25hrs. per week. Duties include preparation of weekly bulletin(core computer skills), answering phone and manning office, maintaining church calendar,assisting with basic bookkeeping, filing, office management, office correspondence/communication, records,preparing and send reports for district office,providing pastor assistance as needed, and being the face of the church as the first person office visitors will encounter. Office hours are somewhat flexible and will be determined by the employee and SPR committee. Must work with pastor and other church employees/members.
