GIS Technician

NOW HIRING GIS TECHNICIAN

The City of Elizabethton is accepting applications for a GIS Technician in the Engineering Department. This position provides a comprehensive GIS service, and related support services, to meet the strategic requirements of the City and/or the utility departments, and will perform other essential duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in GIS or related field and six months of experience; or an associate degree in applied science covering GIS, CADD, or a related field, from an accredited college or technical school and two years of experience; or a GIS certificate equaling a minimum of 16 credit hours from an accredited college or technical school and three years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

ANNUAL PAY: DOQ.
