Annual Testing & Lateral Program The City of Elizabethton is accepting applications for the entry level police officer testing process through Tuesday, January 31st.
Minimum Requirements: Valid TN Driver License, High School Diploma or GED, and 21 years of age. Application process includes a written test, physical agility test, structured interview, and an extensive background review.
Entry Level Base Pay: $36,340.85 + opportunity for overtime. Benefits: Medical, Life, Vision, TCRS Retirement, holiday pay, take home vehicle, uniforms, police equipment, and extensive training. Lateral entry positions available for currently certified police officers.
Base Pay Range: $38,169 to $48,023 + opportunity for overtime. Benefits same as listed above. The City waives the entry-level test process for applicants that qualify for the lateral entry program.
