Team Sales Manager
The Team Sales Manager is responsible for general management
of a core sales team comprised of between 6-8 Account
Executives overseeing the advertising program within the Clear
Channel Airport portfolio.
Job Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
• Meet and exceed established sales quotas to maximize revenue in airport advertising programs within the team’s
portfolio.
• Fulfill goals and objectives set by the organization for individual performance.
• Track and manage performance of each Marketing Consultant on an ongoing basis. Marketing Consultants are
sales associates responsible for calling into their designated airport communities to obtain clients for the advertising
program in the airport’s terminal.
• Responsible for hiring, training, ongoing assessment, discipline, and termination of Marketing Consultants, with
support from Human Resources and the Hiring & Training Manager.
• Collaborate with VPs of Local/Regional Sales & Operations, as well as Finance Manager to establish quarterly sales
and net growth targets.
• Work with all levels of airport staff as a point of contact for sales opportunities, program up-keep, and contractual
compliance, in conjunction with CCA’s Business Development Directors.
• Represent company with airport management, clients, agencies, vendors and other professional associations,
community and civic groups, etc.
• Uphold and execute company initiatives, polices, and directives as it applies to the individual and the team.
• Manage day-to-day team operations and communication with Operations Manager and support staff in remote offices.
• Perform other job-related duties as necessary
Other Responsibilities:
• Schedule sales trips as well as airport relations visits.
• Work with team operations to ensure sales materials such as market rates and product inventory are current.
• Set weekly sales goals based on established quarterly and annual budgets.
• Travel to airports, conferences, or regional meetings on a regular basis to further sales and airport relations.
• Prepare materials, schedule, and actively participate in quarterly team planning meetings, daily/weekly team
meetings, and performance evaluations.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Strong ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to work with confidential and sensitive information.
• Ability to read and comprehend business correspondence and proposals.
• Climb, bend, stoop, stand, sit, operate normal office equipment such as keyboards, copiers, telephones, fax machines,
calculators, computers, etc.
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must have working knowledge of Windows operating system and be competent in Microsoft software applications (i.e.,
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills required.
• College degree or 5 years’ sales management experience required.
• Broad business background with emphasis on sales, management and/or business relations.
• Bilingual, Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
• Travel required is 50%. Driving required; must have safe driving
