Payroll/Fiscal Analyst
GECAC is seeking a Payroll/Fiscal Analyst who is able to work under moderate supervision and perform payroll related tasks by following established financial procedures as well as federal, state and local tax laws by using moderate exercise of initiative and judgment. Responsible for the preparation and distribution of all agency payrolls as designated by the Vice President/Finance. Responsible for the processing of the agency's health insurance billing, payments to taxing authorities for employee withholdings, completion of wage verification reports as well as any other payroll related reports as assigned. Assists with coding and reviews check requests, purchase order requests, travel requests & internal order forms. Reviews & approves subcontractor invoices reimbursement of expenses. Assists in the budgeting process & prepares line item budgets for all programs. Assist with monitoring of revenue & expenses to assure accuracy & maximum use of resources. Assist with annual physical inventory of fixed assets and monitors food inventory, reconciles food purchases monthly & prepares monthly food expense entry.
This position requires an Associate's degree in Accounting or Business Administration with 7 years of experience in public or private accounting or a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with 5-7 years of experience in public or private accounting. Experience that includes payroll processing is preferred.
Act 34 clearance is a requirement prior to hiring. This is a full time exempt position Monday thru Friday with normal working hours of 8:30AM - 4:30PM. Must meet Immigration Law Requirements.
Salary range: $19.25 - $23.74 /hour based on related experience.
