Production Manager
Job Summary
Manage daily production. Maintain reports and procedures to support achievement of operational goals. Maintain appropriate staffing.
Duties and Major Responsibilities
✓ Manage all day-to-day production related duties.
✓ Oversee production
✓ Maintain operational metrics, databases, and spreadsheets for distribution to internal sales staff and external executive distribution.
✓ Maintain filing system of all production and related reports.
✓ Maintains staffing spreadsheets, records, and temporary labor timesheets.
✓ Processes receiving information by correcting discrepancies, verifying packaging lists, and entering data.
✓ Maintains and produces accurate weekly labor hours report.
✓ Works with HR Representative and provides guidance on company policies, practices, and procedures across a wide variety of human resource topics to include benefits, compensation, safety, etc.
✓ Maintains the time keeping system for all associates to include reporting practices to the central payroll department and management reports.
✓ Assists with new hire documentation for associates and assures that corporate HR office is supplied with all required personnel file records.
✓ Maintains all relevant attendance records and alerts supervisors when corrective action is needed.
✓ Conduct yourself in accordance with the Company code of ethics policy at all times.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to:
- Stand/Walk for an extended period of time
- Sit for an extended period of time
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally life or move more than 50 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is accomplished in both an office and plant setting. Position will interact with associates at all levels.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Must be PC literate with basic to intermediate level of expertise in the MS Office package, familiar with the receiving process and practices of a manufacturing or distribution operation, ability to process routine human resource transactions efficiently and effectively, and exposure to legal environment associated with personnel matters. Must have manufacturing/warehouse leadership experience. Must have strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High school degree or equivalent certificate with a minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing/office environment required.

Pay: $100,000 - $120,000 per year
