Seeking an Project Manager (Construction)
Description: The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the coordination, supervision, support and inspection of all Housing construction projects.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
•Visit potential sites to evaluate, determine feasibility and cost to build single or multi-housing units.
•Work with Architects, Engineer's, City or County Inspection Officers, Tribal and Housing staff in developing construction designs, plans and material specifications.
" Participate in the bidding process of all new construction projects.
•Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance of contractual commitments for contractors and subcontractors including, costs, quality, scheduling, field activity, plans and specifications, building code requirement, and safety standards.
•Maintain effective communication and coordination between the company and the design engineer to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
•Stay current with building codes.
•Assist in procedure changes that would increase efficiency o operations.
Minimum Requirements:
•Associate's Degree and 6 years' experience in Construction Management or combination of education and experience.
•Valid Oklahoma Driver's License.
Preferred Requirements:
•Bachelor's Degree and 6 years' experience in Construction Management or combination of education and experience.
