Erosion & Sediment Control Program Administrator
Scott County Soil & Water Conservation District is seeking a full-time position for an Erosion & Sediment Control Program Administrator to administer and maintain the Scott County Erosion and Sediment Control Program. Duties include, but are not limited to, issuing of permits, site assessments, plan reviews, inspections to determine adherence to program regulations, maintaining project files, providing technical assistance concerning ESC Program issues, and preparing program reports. The successful candidate will work both independently and in a team environment and accept additional duties as necessary. The preferred candidate should have a degree in the environmental science/natural resources field or equivalent experience in conservation measures, showing knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job duties. Candidate must have excellent computer knowledge which includes various programs, possess both oral and written skills, be self-be motivated and well organized. The ability to work with the public is necessary. A valid driver's license is required.
Reference and background check required. Starting salary based on qualifications/experience ranging from $36,400 - $44,200. Scott County Soil & Water Conservation District is an equal Opportunity Employer.
