Municipal Court Clerk Position
The Town of Mount Carmel is seeking to hire a qualified individual for the municipal court clerk position. The selected individual should be capable of receiving payments on fines, complete dispositions on citations, and have detailed knowledge of state laws, policy, and procedures that apply to the municipal court. The selected candidate must be highly motivated and possess excellent writing, communication, and customer service skills. Must either be a Certified Municipal Court Clerk or have the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of employment. Position is full-time with benefits, minimum salary $29,120 or more depends on qualification. Court sessions are held the first and third Wednesday at 5:00 pm.
