Alumni Engagement Specialist

 The Alumni Engagement Office of the University of Virginia’s College at Wise seeks a well-articulated and detail-oriented Alumni Engagement Specialist to provide administrative support. Responsibilities include electronic report generation; correspondence preparation; scheduling; assisting in event production; reconciling the monthly budget; supervising work study students; assisting the Director of Alumni Engagement with engagement events and other support duties as assigned. Additionally, this key staff member serves the Office of Advancement & Alumni Engagement and works closely with the Vice Chancellor for Advancement & Alumni Engagement.

An associate degree and at least one-year of related experience is required, preferably in a college or business setting. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word, have a general understanding of QuickBooks, possess social media and photography skills, and have the ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
